Graveyard Pudding Cups (Chocolate Dirt Cups)

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 cups 1x

Description

No-bake, kid-friendly Halloween dessert with chocolate pudding, cookie “dirt,” and tombstone cookies. Spooky, quick, and perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale

2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix

3 1/2 cups cold milk

1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream

24 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed

8 rectangular cookies (e.g., Milano) for tombstones

Black decorating gel or melted chocolate, for writing RIP

Gummy worms or candy pumpkins (optional)

8 clear 5–9 oz cups

Instructions

1. Crush sandwich cookies into fine crumbs to make the “dirt”; set aside.

2. In a bowl, whisk pudding mixes with cold milk for 2 minutes; let thicken 3–5 minutes.

3. Fold in whipped topping to lighten the pudding.

4. Write “RIP” on rectangular cookies with decorating gel; let set 2–3 minutes.

5. Spoon pudding into cups (about 1/2–2/3 full), sprinkle a thick layer of cookie “dirt” on top.

6. Insert a tombstone cookie, add gummy worms or candy pumpkins, and chill 10 minutes before serving.
