Mummy Hot Dogs (Halloween Crescent-Wrapped Franks)

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 mummies 1x

Description

Playful, crowd-pleasing Halloween finger food: hot dogs wrapped in crescent dough like mummies with mustard eyes. Quick, cute, and perfect for party platters.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

12 hot dogs

1 large egg, beaten (optional, for shine)

1 tablespoon yellow mustard or mayo (for eyes)

Ketchup and extra mustard, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

2. Unroll crescent dough; pinch seams to seal. Cut into thin 1/4-inch strips.

3. Wrap each hot dog with dough strips, leaving a small gap for the eyes.

4. Brush lightly with beaten egg if using.

5. Bake 12–15 minutes until dough is golden and hot dogs are heated through.

6. Cool 2 minutes, then dot mustard or mayo in the gap to make eyes.

7. Serve warm with ketchup and extra mustard for dipping.
