Playful, crowd-pleasing Halloween finger food: hot dogs wrapped in crescent dough like mummies with mustard eyes. Quick, cute, and perfect for party platters.
Ingredients
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
12 hot dogs
1 large egg, beaten (optional, for shine)
1 tablespoon yellow mustard or mayo (for eyes)
Ketchup and extra mustard, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Unroll crescent dough; pinch seams to seal. Cut into thin 1/4-inch strips.
3. Wrap each hot dog with dough strips, leaving a small gap for the eyes.
4. Brush lightly with beaten egg if using.
5. Bake 12–15 minutes until dough is golden and hot dogs are heated through.
6. Cool 2 minutes, then dot mustard or mayo in the gap to make eyes.
7. Serve warm with ketchup and extra mustard for dipping.
