2. In a large bowl whisk together cake mix, eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
3. Toss chopped apples with 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 1 teaspoon dry cake mix in a separate bowl.
4. Pour half the batter into the pan, top with half the apples, then repeat layers with remaining batter and apples.
5. Optional: mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle on top of the loaf.
6. Bake 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
