This Apple Cider Iced Tea combines spiced apple cider with crisp chilled tea for a refreshing, non-alcoholic fall beverage. 1. Heat 4 cups of water to about 200°F (93°C) in a kettle or saucepan.
2. Steep 4 black tea bags in the hot water for 4–5 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
3. Stir 1–2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup into the warm tea until dissolved.
4. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes.
5. In a large pitcher, combine the chilled tea with 2 cups of cold non-alcoholic apple cider.
6. Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and 2 cinnamon sticks, plus optional cloves, star anise, or nutmeg.
7. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for 30–45 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
8. Serve over ice in glasses or mason jars, garnished with thin apple slices and a cinnamon stick.
