  • Total Time: 37 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These quick turkey meatballs are low in fat, high in protein, and made without breadcrumbs for a healthy, gluten-free dinner option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey (93% fat)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt (optional)
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, grated onion, minced garlic, egg, parsley, Greek yogurt, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

    3. Dampen hands and roll mixture into 1 to 1½-inch meatballs, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.

    4. Bake meatballs for 18–22 minutes, turning once halfway, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

    5. Alternatively, heat 1 tsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, sear meatballs 2–3 minutes per side, then add broth or sauce, cover, and simmer 8–10 minutes until cooked through.

    6. Let meatballs rest 5 minutes before serving to lock in juices.
