Fast, festive donuts glazed and loaded with Halloween candies. Start with store-bought or homemade donuts, add a quick colored glaze, and finish with candy corn, apple candy slices, sprinkles, and more—perfect for spooky treat tables.
Ingredients
12 plain glazed or cake donuts, cooled
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons milk or water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Gel food coloring (orange, green, purple)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped mini bars
1/2 cup candy corn
1/2 cup apple candy slices or gummy apple rings
1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
Optional: candy eyes and gummy worms
Instructions
1. Line a sheet pan with parchment and arrange the cooled donuts.
2. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until a thick, pourable glaze forms; divide and tint with food coloring.
3. Dip or spoon glaze over donut tops, letting excess drip for 30 to 60 seconds.
4. While the glaze is tacky, press on candy corn, apple candy slices, chocolate pieces, sprinkles, and candy eyes.
5. Let set at room temperature 15 to 20 minutes until the candies adhere; chill briefly if needed.
6. Serve the same day for best texture or store airtight at room temperature up to 24 hours.
