  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 6 skull cheeseburgers 1x

Description

Juicy ground beef stuffed with melty cheddar and baked in a skull pan for a spooky, family-friendly Halloween dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 lb ground beef (80/20)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup finely diced onion

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 large egg

1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

Nonstick spray or oil, for pan

1 tbsp milk or water (optional, for moisture)

2 tbsp BBQ sauce or hot sauce (optional, flavor twist)

2 tbsp diced jalapeños (optional, spicy)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place silicone skull pan on a baking sheet.

2. Grease each skull cavity thoroughly with nonstick spray or oil.

3. In a bowl, gently mix beef, onion, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs.

4. Add milk or water if using; mix just until combined. Do not overwork.

5. Press a thin, even layer of beef into each skull cavity, forming a hollow shell.

6. Fill centers with cheddar (and jalapeños or sauce if using).

7. Cover with more beef and seal edges to enclose the cheese.

8. Firmly press meat into facial details for crisp skull features.

9. Bake 25–30 minutes, until centers reach 160°F (71°C).

10. Rest 5 minutes, then carefully unmold. Push from bottom if silicone.

11. Optional: Broil 2–3 minutes to brown the exterior.

12. Serve with fries, ketchup “blood,” and a simple green salad.
