Description
These Halloween cheeseburger skulls are creepy, cheesy, and totally kid-approved. An easy and spooky dinner idea baked in skull molds for a fun twist on burgers.
Ingredients
1.5 to 2 pounds ground beef (80/20 preferred)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or oil for molds
Burger buns or lettuce wraps (optional)
Ketchup, mustard, or dipping sauces
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease the skull molds.
2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
3. Press a layer of meat mixture into each skull mold cavity.
4. Add a spoonful of shredded cheese into each center.
5. Top with more meat and seal well.
6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°F.
7. Let cool 5 minutes, then unmold carefully.
8. Serve with burger buns, spooky sides, or themed dipping sauces.
Notes
Add jalapeños or BBQ sauce for flavor.
Use plant-based meat or cheese for a vegetarian version.
