2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp fine salt
3/4 cup warm water (about 110°F)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded cheddar (optional)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan
1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chopped parsley (garnish)
Extra Parmesan, for topping
1 1/2 cups warm marinara, for dipping
Optional dips: ranch, garlic butter, or spicy queso
Instructions
1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let stand 5 minutes until foamy.
2. Mix flour, salt, olive oil, and the yeast mixture; knead 8–10 minutes until smooth.
3. Cover and let dough rise in a warm spot until doubled, about 60 minutes.
4. Heat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
5. Stir mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
6. Divide dough into 10–12 pieces; roll each into a short log.
7. Snip a small slit at both ends and curl the tips outward to form bone “knobs.”
8. Flatten the center slightly, add a spoon of cheese mixture, and pinch to seal.
9. Arrange on the sheet; mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over tops.
10. Bake 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden; sprinkle Parmesan and parsley.
11. Serve warm with marinara or your preferred dip.
