  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 bones 1x

Description

Spooky, kid-friendly breadstick bones stuffed with melty mozzarella and served with a “bloody” marinara dip—perfect for parties or movie night.

Ingredients

Scale

1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza or breadstick dough

6 mozzarella string cheese sticks, halved

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

1 cup warm marinara sauce, for dipping

Fine salt, to taste

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C); line a baking sheet with parchment.

2. Unroll dough on a lightly floured surface; shape into a neat rectangle.

3. Cut into 12 strips, about 1 x 5 inches.

4. Place half a string cheese on each strip; fold dough over and pinch edges to seal.

5. Form bone tips by knotting or rolling each end; place seam-side down on the sheet.

6. Brush with oil/butter; sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.

7. Bake 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden.

8. Brush with a little melted butter; add parsley and a pinch of salt.
