  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A stunning dessert board featuring an assortment of chocolate-dipped fruits, sweets, and savory bites arranged for Valentine’s night or any special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 12 strawberries, washed and dried
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • 6 macarons
  • 12 marshmallows
  • 10 pretzels
  • assorted crackers
  • edible rose petals (optional)
  • edible gold dust (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Place chocolates in separate heat-safe bowls and melt until smooth using short microwave bursts or a double boiler.

    2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and dip fruits and sweets halfway into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.

    3. Arrange dipped pieces on parchment and, if desired, drizzle contrasting chocolate or sprinkle crushed nuts, rose petals, or gold dust before chocolate sets.

    4. Select a large serving board and position small bowls of remaining melted chocolate or dips in the center to anchor the display.

    5. Arrange clusters of chocolate-dipped fruits, sweets, pretzels, and crackers around the bowls, alternating colors and textures for balance.

    6. Fill gaps with additional treats like macarons, marshmallows, dried fruits, and edible petals for visual interest.

    7. Chill the assembled board briefly to set the chocolate, then remove from the refrigerator 10 minutes before serving to restore ideal texture.

    8. Serve on a decorated table with candles or fairy lights for an intimate Valentine’s presentation.
