Cranberry Brie Crostini

Description

Elegant holiday appetizer featuring toasted baguette topped with melted brie, tart cranberry sauce, honey drizzle, and fresh herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 french baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 12 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme
  • olive oil for brushing
  • salt to taste

  • Instructions

    1. preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)

    2. arrange baguette slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil, sprinkle with salt

    3. bake baguette slices for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp

    4. slice brie into pieces and place one piece on each toasted baguette slice

    5. reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake crostini with brie for 3-5 minutes until cheese softens

    6. remove from oven and spoon cranberry sauce atop each melted brie

    7. drizzle honey over each crostini

    8. garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs and serve
