Description

Cranberry Brie Sourdough Crostini features creamy melted brie and tangy cranberry sauce atop crisp sourdough slices for a festive sweet and savory appetizer perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings.

  • 1 medium artisan sourdough loaf, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced thinly
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 23 tbsp olive oil, for brushing
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)
  • sea salt flakes, to taste
  • optional garnishes: crushed pistachios, orange zest, honey drizzle

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and arrange sourdough slices on a baking sheet, brushing both sides with olive oil.

    2. Bake slices for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until lightly golden and crisp.

    3. Top each warm slice with a thin brie slice and return to oven for 3-4 minutes until the cheese softens.

    4. Spoon a small dollop of cranberry sauce onto each melted brie crostini and sprinkle with rosemary if using.

    5. Finish with sea salt flakes and optional garnishes, then serve warm.
