  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles or diced boiled potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
  • Breadcrumbs (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking dish.

    2. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat, add onion and garlic, season with salt and pepper, and cook until fragrant. Drain excess fat.

    3. In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley.

    4. Layer noodles or potatoes in the baking dish, top with the beef mixture, then pour the creamy sauce over everything and mix gently.

    5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and add breadcrumbs if desired.
