2. Add orzo and toast, stirring constantly, for 2–3 minutes until golden.
3. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
4. Pour in broth, bring to a simmer, then cook uncovered for 8–10 minutes until orzo is tender and creamy.
5. Add peas and spinach, stirring until spinach wilts and peas are heated through, 2–3 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and butter until melted and creamy.
7. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest if desired.
8. Adjust consistency with extra broth if too thick and serve immediately.
