A comforting casserole that transforms holiday turkey and wild rice leftovers into a creamy, flavorful one-dish meal.

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion, garlic, and mixed vegetables until soft, about 5–7 minutes.
3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk; whisk until smooth. Season with thyme, sage, pepper and salt.
4. In a bowl, combine wild rice, turkey, and sautéed vegetables. Pour sauce over and fold to coat.
5. Transfer mixture to baking dish, top with shredded cheese and optional bread crumbs.
6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
7. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
