Mummy Hot Dogs (Halloween)

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 mummies 1x

Description

Crescent-dough bandages wrapped around hot dogs for a cute, kid-friendly Halloween snack that bakes in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

12 hot dogs

2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough, seams pressed

1 large egg, beaten (optional egg wash)

1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

Yellow mustard, for eyes

Ketchup or dipping sauce, for serving

Nonstick spray or parchment, for the pan

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

2. Unroll dough and press seams flat; cut into thin 1/4-inch strips.

3. Pat hot dogs dry. Wrap dough strips around each to look like bandages, leaving a small gap for eyes.

4. Whisk egg with water; lightly brush dough (optional for shine).

5. Bake 13–15 minutes until dough is golden and hot dogs are heated through.

6. Dot mustard in the gap to make two eyes. Serve warm with ketchup or favorite dip.
