  • Instructions

    1. 1. Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan and cover with cold water by about an inch. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat. Once boiling, immediately remove the pan from the heat, cover, and let stand for 12-15 minutes. This method helps prevent green rings around the yolks.

    2. 2. Cool and peel the eggs: After the resting time, carefully drain the hot water and immediately transfer the eggs to an ice bath (a bowl of ice water) for at least 5 minutes. This stops the cooking process and makes them easier to peel. Once cooled, gently tap and roll each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel under cool running water.

    3. 3. Halve and scoop the yolks: Carefully slice each peeled egg in half lengthwise. Gently scoop out the yolks into a medium bowl, being careful not to tear the whites. Arrange the egg white halves on a serving platter.
