Description
Cute no-bake marshmallow characters inspired by the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man—quick to decorate with edible markers and chocolate, perfect for Halloween, birthdays, or movie nights.
Ingredients
12 large marshmallows
1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
12 mini marshmallows (for hats)
Edible food markers: black, blue, red
6 pretzel sticks, halved (optional arms)
2 tablespoons green candy melts or green icing (optional slime)
Sprinkles or colored sugar (optional)
Parchment paper
Instructions
1. Line a tray with parchment. Melt white chocolate with coconut oil in 20–30 second microwave bursts, stirring until smooth.
2. Using edible markers, draw Stay Puft’s face on one side of each large marshmallow (eyes, smile, brows).
3. Tint a spoonful of chocolate blue (or use blue melts). Dip the top of each mini marshmallow to make a sailor hat; add a red stripe with marker once set.
4. Attach each mini marshmallow hat to a large marshmallow with a dab of melted white chocolate; hold briefly until it adheres.
5. If desired, insert pretzel halves into the sides of large marshmallows to create arms.
6. For a spooky touch, drizzle green candy melts or icing as “slime,” and add sprinkles if using.
7. Set decorated marshmallows on the parchment and let chocolate firm 10–15 minutes at room temp.
8. Serve on skewers, perch on cupcakes, or place in mini snack cups; store airtight at room temp up to 2 days.
