Adorable Ghostbusters-themed marshmallow pops made with simple candy decorations, perfect for Halloween parties, cocoa toppers, or favor bags.
Ingredients
24 large marshmallows
24 mini marshmallows (for hats)
1/2 cup blue candy melts
1/2 cup white candy melts (as edible glue)
1 sheet red fruit leather, cut into thin scarf strips
1 edible black food marker
1 edible red food marker (optional)
24 lollipop sticks or skewers (optional)
Parchment paper for setting
Optional homemade base: 2 1/2 tsp unflavored gelatin
Optional homemade base: 1 cup granulated sugar
Optional homemade base: 1/2 cup light corn syrup
Optional homemade base: 1/2 cup water, plus extra for blooming
Optional homemade base: Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Line a tray with parchment; set out marshmallows, markers, melts, and fruit leather.
2. Melt blue candy melts until smooth; keep white melts warm for gluing.
3. Dip the bottom of each mini marshmallow in blue melts; place atop a large marshmallow to form the sailor hat.
4. Dot white melts between hat and head if needed; let set 10 minutes.
5. Draw two eyes and a smile with the black marker; add a red tongue or cheek marks if desired.
6. Wrap a thin strip of red fruit leather around the base as a scarf; secure with a dab of white melts.
7. Add a tiny red dot to the top of the blue hat (optional).
8. Insert sticks for pops or leave as bites; let all details set 5–10 minutes before serving.
9. Serving ideas: stand pops in a jar, top cupcakes, or float on hot cocoa.
10. Optional homemade marshmallow base: prepare your favorite vanilla marshmallow slab, cut into cylinders, dust lightly, then decorate as above.
