  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

An effortless one-pan shrimp and broccoli stir-fry in a sweet-savory honey garlic sauce, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • green onions, sliced, for garnish

  • Instructions

    1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.

    2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, ground ginger, cornstarch, and water; set aside.

    3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add broccoli; sauté 3–4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender, adding a splash of water and covering briefly if needed, then transfer to a plate.

    4. Add butter or oil to the same skillet and cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then return broccoli to the pan.

    5. Pour sauce into the skillet, simmer 1 minute until it thickens and coats shrimp and broccoli.

    6. Toss to combine, then remove from heat.

    7. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
