Cheese and salami eyeballs arranged on cocktail skewers as fun Halloween Skewers Ideas 2

Easy Scary Eyeballs with Cheese and Salami

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 24 eyeballs 1x

Description

No-cook Halloween appetizer: cheese balls wrapped in salami with olive pupils on skewers—spooky, fast, and kid-friendly.

Ingredients

Scale

24 mini mozzarella balls (ciliegine) or 8 oz cream cheese, rolled into 24 balls

24 thin slices salami or pepperoni

12 pimento-stuffed green olives, sliced into 24 rings

24 cocktail skewers or toothpicks

Optional: 1 tsp hot sauce or ketchup for veins

Optional: pinch smoked paprika or chili flakes

Instructions

1. If using mozzarella, drain and pat dry; if using cream cheese, roll into 24 1-inch balls and chill 10 minutes.

2. Wrap each cheese ball with a slice (or half slice) of salami, leaving some cheese exposed for the eyeball look.

3. Top each with an olive ring on the exposed cheese to form the pupil; press gently to adhere.

4. Skewer through olive and cheese to secure each eyeball.

5. Dot with hot sauce or dust with paprika for vein-like details, if desired.

6. Chill 10 minutes to set and serve cold on a spooky platter.
