Description
No-bake marshmallow pops inspired by Ghostbusters’ Stay Puft—dipped in white candy melts and decorated with a blue hat, red ribbon, and smiling face. Perfect for Halloween parties, movie nights, and kid-friendly DIY stations.
Ingredients
20 large marshmallows
10 oz white candy melts (or white chocolate chips)
1–2 teaspoons neutral oil or coconut oil, optional (to thin melts)
1/2 cup blue candy melts or blue royal icing (for hats)
2 tablespoons red icing or thin red licorice laces (for ribbons)
1 black edible food marker or black gel icing
20 lollipop sticks or paper straws
20 graham cracker squares, optional (for bases)
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Insert a lollipop stick into each marshmallow.
2. Melt white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second bursts, stirring until smooth; thin with a little oil if needed.
3. Dip each marshmallow to coat, tap off excess, and place upright on the parchment. Let set 5–10 minutes.
4. Pipe or spoon a small blue cap on the top of each marshmallow to form Stay Puft’s hat; allow to set.
5. Add a thin red ribbon detail beneath the hat using red icing or a strip of licorice.
6. Draw eyes and a big smile with a black edible marker or fine lines of black gel icing.
7. Optional: Set each decorated marshmallow on a graham cracker square for a crunchy base.
8. Let candies firm 10–15 minutes until dry to the touch. Serve, or store airtight at room temperature up to 2 days.
