Description

Creepy-cute Jello shots with floating eyeballs, perfect for Halloween parties. Make them kid-friendly with water or boozy with vodka.


Ingredients

Scale

2 boxes (3 oz each) flavored gelatin (orange, lime, cherry, or grape)

2 cups boiling water

2 cups cold water (or 1 cup cold water + 1 cup vodka for adults)

24 candy eyeballs or peeled grapes

Gummy worms or spiders, optional

Whipped cream, optional

Black or neon food coloring, optional

Nonstick spray for molds, optional


Instructions

1. Set 24 plastic shot cups on a tray; lightly spray molds if using.

2. Whisk gelatin with boiling water in a bowl until fully dissolved (about 2 minutes).

3. Stir in cold water, or use 1 cup cold water + 1 cup vodka for boozy shots.

4. Tint with food coloring if desired; pour to fill cups halfway.

5. Chill 25–30 minutes until slightly set but still tacky on top.

6. Place 1 candy eyeball or peeled grape in each cup.

7. Top up with remaining gelatin; refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm.

8. Garnish with whipped cream or gummies before serving; keep chilled.

9. Make-ahead: cover and refrigerate up to 3 days; label alcoholic versions.
