  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 16 brownies 1x

Description

Fudgy brownies topped with candy eyeballs, red gel veins, and spooky drizzles—an easy, crowd-pleasing Halloween dessert kids and adults love.

Ingredients

Scale

1 box (18–20 oz) brownie mix

Ingredients as called for on the box (eggs, oil, water)

Nonstick spray or parchment paper

2432 large candy eyeballs

1/2 cup vanilla frosting

1 tube red decorating gel

1/2 cup white candy melts, melted (optional)

Black food gel or melted chocolate (optional)

Halloween sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat oven per brownie mix directions (about 350°F/175°C); line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment and lightly grease.

2. Prepare brownie batter as directed; pour into pan and smooth the top.

3. Bake per package time until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs, 22–28 minutes; cool 20–30 minutes in the pan.

4. Lift out and cut into 16 squares (or smaller bite-size pieces).

5. Add a small dab of frosting on each piece and press on 1–2 candy eyeballs.

6. Pipe red decorating gel to create bloodshot veins; drizzle melted candy melts and add sprinkles or black gel accents if desired.

7. Let decorations set 10 minutes; serve or store airtight at room temperature up to 3 days.
