Ingredients
1 box (18–20 oz) brownie mix
Ingredients as called for on the box (eggs, oil, water)
Nonstick spray or parchment paper
24–32 large candy eyeballs
1/2 cup vanilla frosting
1 tube red decorating gel
1/2 cup white candy melts, melted (optional)
Black food gel or melted chocolate (optional)
Halloween sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat oven per brownie mix directions (about 350°F/175°C); line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment and lightly grease.
2. Prepare brownie batter as directed; pour into pan and smooth the top.
3. Bake per package time until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs, 22–28 minutes; cool 20–30 minutes in the pan.
4. Lift out and cut into 16 squares (or smaller bite-size pieces).
5. Add a small dab of frosting on each piece and press on 1–2 candy eyeballs.
6. Pipe red decorating gel to create bloodshot veins; drizzle melted candy melts and add sprinkles or black gel accents if desired.
7. Let decorations set 10 minutes; serve or store airtight at room temperature up to 3 days.
