Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup finely diced onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1 large egg
Cooking spray (for molds)
Ketchup or dipping sauce, for serving (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a silicone skull mold with cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, breadcrumbs, and egg until just combined.
3. Press a thin, even layer of meat mixture into each skull cavity, creating a hollow center.
4. Fill each cavity with about 2 tablespoons shredded cheese.
5. Cover cheese with more meat, sealing edges well and smoothing level with the mold top.
6. Place mold on a sheet pan and bake 20–25 minutes, until centers reach 160°F (71°C).
7. Rest 5 minutes, then carefully unmold the skulls.
8. Serve upright on a platter with ketchup or your favorite sauces and spooky-themed sides.
