Ingredients
12 plain or glazed yeast donuts
2 crisp apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), thinly sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup caramel sauce, warmed
1/2 cup melted dark or milk chocolate
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts or pecans
1/4 cup festive sprinkles
Flaky sea salt, optional
Wooden picks or mini skewers
Parchment paper
Instructions
1. Line a sheet pan with parchment; arrange donuts in a single layer.
2. Core apples and slice thinly; toss with lemon juice, then pat dry.
3. Stir sugar and cinnamon together to make cinnamon sugar.
4. Warm caramel and melt chocolate until smooth and drizzleable.
5. Drizzle some donuts with caramel, others with chocolate.
6. Top each donut with 1–2 apple slices; secure with a pick if needed.
7. Finish with nuts, sprinkles, and cinnamon sugar; add sea salt to caramel donuts.
8. Let set 5–10 minutes; serve the same day for best texture.
