Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small wheel of brie (810 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries or fresh rosemary leaves
  • 4 oz aged cheddar, sliced or cubed
  • 4 oz goat cheese or herbed cheese log
  • 4 oz gouda or manchego, sliced
  • 6 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz salami or soppressata
  • 4 oz pepperoni or capicola
  • assorted artisan crackers
  • crostini or baguette slices
  • gluten-free crackers
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 4 figs, halved
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup toasted almonds or candied walnuts
  • fresh rosemary and thyme sprigs
  • optional sugared cranberries or edible gold dust

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    2. Unwrap brie and place on parchment or oven-safe dish. Score the top rind lightly.

    3. Drizzle honey over brie, sprinkle chopped nuts and dried cranberries or rosemary leaves.

    4. Bake for 10–13 minutes until brie is soft and gooey but not runny.

    5. Transfer baked brie to the serving board on a small wooden base or ceramic dish.

    6. Arrange remaining cheeses around the brie, mixing sliced and whole pieces for variety.

    7. Fold or roll meats (prosciutto, salami, pepperoni) and position them in clusters or “rivers” across the board.

    8. Stack or fan crackers and breads around the edges, keeping gluten-free options separate.

    9. Fill gaps with fresh grapes, pomegranate seeds, apple slices, figs, dried fruits, and nuts.

    10. Tuck rosemary and thyme sprigs between items and optionally scatter sugared cranberries or gold dust for sparkle.

    11. Provide cheese knives, small bowls for spreads, and serving tongs alongside the board.
