  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Tender, pan seared chicken bites coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, perfect for appetizers, snacks, or quick dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast or thigh, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red chili flakes, lemon juice, sesame seeds

  • Instructions

    1. Cut chicken into uniform bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

    2. Heat olive oil and butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

    3. Add chicken in a single layer and sear undisturbed for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through; transfer to a plate.

    4. Lower heat to medium and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    5. Whisk honey and soy sauce together, then pour into the pan and scrape up browned bits.

    6. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in the bubbling glaze for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats each piece.

    7. Remove from heat and let rest for 1 minute to set glaze before serving.

    8. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions and serve warm.
