Description
Playful Stay Puft marshmallow faces made with candy melts and icing—quick, no-bake Halloween party food that doubles as décor.
Ingredients
12 large marshmallows
6 mini marshmallows, halved
1/2 cup white candy melts
1 teaspoon neutral oil (optional, for thinning melts)
Blue decorating icing (tube or piping bag)
Red decorating icing (tube or piping bag)
1 black edible food marker
12 pretzel sticks or lollipop sticks (optional)
1 tablespoon Halloween sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
Instructions
1. Line a tray with parchment paper.
2. If using sticks, insert one into each large marshmallow to create a handle.
3. Cut mini marshmallows in half to make hat tops.
4. Melt candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl (30-second bursts), stirring; add oil if needed for a smooth dip.
5. Dab a little melted candy on top of each large marshmallow and attach a mini marshmallow half; let set 3–5 minutes.
6. Pipe a blue band around the mini-marshmallow hat; add a small red icing ribbon on one side.
7. Use the edible marker to draw eyes and a smile; vary expressions for fun.
8. Add optional sprinkles or glitter while icing is still tacky.
9. Let treats stand until candy sets and surfaces are dry to the touch.
10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2–3 days; avoid refrigeration.
