Ingredients

3 cups whole milk

6 ounces white chocolate, chopped or chips

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

a few drops pink food coloring or 1/4 teaspoon beet powder

whipped cream, to top

mini marshmallows, as desired

1–2 teaspoons strawberry syrup or peppermint extract (optional)

Instructions

1. Combine milk and heavy cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat and warm until steaming, about 3-4 minutes

2. Add white chocolate and whisk until melted and smooth, about 3-5 minutes

3. Stir in vanilla extract and pink food coloring or beet powder until the beverage is a cheerful pink hue

4. For variations, add strawberry syrup or peppermint extract if desired

5. Remove from heat and froth with a whisk or milk frother

6. Ladle the hot pink chocolate into mugs and top with whipped cream and mini marshmallows

7. Garnish with crushed peppermint, colored sugar, or edible glitter as desired
