Spider Halloween Burger & Sweet Potato Fries (Toddler-Friendly)

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 2 toddlers 1x

Description

A playful mini burger with sweet potato “legs” and olive “eyes” that’s soft, mild, and quick for a festive toddler dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

2 small soft buns (whole-wheat or potato)

6 oz lean ground turkey or beef (2 mini patties)

2 thin slices mild cheddar or mozzarella

1 small sweet potato, cut into thin fries

1 tsp olive oil

4 olive slices or 2 olives halved (eyes)

2 tbsp ketchup, hummus, or mashed avocado

Pinch mild seasoning (paprika or garlic powder, optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss sweet potato sticks with olive oil and a pinch of seasoning.

2. Bake fries 15–18 minutes, turning once, until tender inside and lightly golden.

3. Form 2 toddler-size patties from the ground meat; season lightly if desired.

4. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat 3–4 minutes per side until fully cooked.

5. Top patties with cheese in the last minute to melt; warm buns if desired.

6. Spread buns with ketchup, hummus, or avocado; add the cheesy patty.

7. Insert 3–4 fries into each side of the burger to make spider legs.

8. Stick olive pieces on the top bun with a dab of sauce for eyes.

9. Serve with remaining fries and an extra dip; cut into bite-size pieces as needed.
