Easy, colorful Jello shots with vodka or juice, perfect for spooky parties and simple to make ahead.
Ingredients
Scale
1 box (3 oz) flavored gelatin (cherry, lime, or grape)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup vodka (or use juice for non-alcoholic)
Optional: 2-3 drops food coloring, whipped cream, sprinkles, or gummy candies
Instructions
1. Add gelatin to a bowl; pour in boiling water and whisk until fully dissolved, 1-2 minutes.
2. Stir in cold water, then vodka (or juice) until combined.
3. Set 2 oz plastic shot cups on a tray; pour mixture in, filling each about 3/4 full.
4. Refrigerate until set, 2-3 hours.
5. Garnish just before serving with whipped cream, sprinkles, or gummies.
6. Keep chilled until serving; cover with lids or wrap if making ahead.
