A fun, kid-friendly Halloween recipe where crescent dough is wrapped around hot dogs to look like cute mummies. Quick to make, perfect for parties, and easy for little helpers.
Ingredients
12 hot dogs
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 large egg, beaten (optional, for shine)
Yellow mustard or ketchup, for eyes
Cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly spray.
2. Unroll the crescent dough; press perforations to form a solid sheet.
3. Cut dough into thin strips (about 1/4 inch / 6 mm).
4. Wrap strips around each hot dog to resemble bandages, leaving a small gap for the face.
5. Place on the prepared sheet; brush with beaten egg if using.
6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and hot dogs are heated through.
7. Cool 2 minutes, then dot mustard or ketchup in the face gap to make eyes.
8. Serve warm with extra mustard and ketchup for dipping.
