Description

A comforting, easy baked casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, creamy soup, melted cheese, and flaky crescent roll layers.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 packages crescent roll dough

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

    2. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess fat.

    3. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    4. Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the prepared dish, sealing seams.

    5. Spread the beef and soup mixture evenly over the dough base.

    6. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.

    7. Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place over the cheese, sealing seams.

    8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling, then let rest 5 minutes before serving.
