Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

4 burger buns

4 slices cheddar or American cheese

2 string cheeses, sliced into 8 small rounds

8 pitted black olive halves (for pupils)

24–32 fries for legs, plus extra for serving

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp mustard

1 tbsp mayonnaise

Optional: lettuce leaves and pickle chips

Instructions

1. Bake fries per package directions until crisp; keep warm.

2. Form 4 equal patties from the meat and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3. Cook patties in a skillet or on a grill over medium heat, 4–5 minutes per side, until done.

4. Top each patty with cheese during the last minute to melt; lightly toast buns.

5. Spread ketchup, mustard, or mayo on buns and place a patty on each bottom bun.

6. Tuck 3–4 fries into each side of the patty as spider legs; cap with the top bun.
