Ingredients
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375 F (190 C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray it with cooking spray.
2. Carefully unroll the can of crescent dinner rolls. Gently separate each triangle.
3. Take one crescent roll triangle and roll it into a small ball. Then, gently flatten it slightly and use your thumb to create a small indentation in the center, forming a bowl shape. The edges should be slightly thicker to hold their shape. Repeat with all remaining crescent roll triangles.
4. Place the formed mini bread bowls onto your prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one to allow for expansion during baking.
5. In a small bowl, whisk together the large egg and water to create an egg wash. Lightly brush the tops and sides of each mini bread bowl with this mixture. If using, sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning over the egg-washed bowls.
6. Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the mini bread bowls are puffed up, golden brown, and cooked through. The exact time may vary slightly depending on your oven.
7. Once baked, remove the bread bowls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. If you plan to fill them with a thick soup or dip, you can gently scoop out a small amount of the soft interior bread from each bowl to create more space. Be careful not to go through the bottom!
8. Serve immediately, filled with your favorite soup or dip.
