Rich, gluten-free layered brownies with a fudgy crust, airy chocolate mousse, and whipped topping—no oven required.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream

  • Instructions

    1. Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.

    2. Melt dark chocolate and butter together until smooth.

    3. Stir in almond flour and maple syrup to form a dough and press into the pan.

    4. Freeze crust for 15 to 20 minutes.

    5. Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar to soft peaks.

    6. Fold in melted chocolate and vanilla gently.

    7. Spread mousse over chilled crust and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    8. Whip cream until fluffy and spread over mousse layer.

    9. Garnish with shaved chocolate or cocoa dust.

    10. Chill for 30 minutes, then cut into 16 brownies.
