1. Rinse oyster shells under cold water and scrub to remove debris.
2. Shuck oysters, keeping the oyster liquor in the bottom shell.
3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then add minced garlic and simmer until fragrant.
4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat, using charcoal or gas.
5. Place oysters on the grill and spoon garlic butter over each oyster.
6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top of each oyster.
7. Close grill lid and cook 4–6 minutes until butter is bubbling and cheese is golden.
8. Remove oysters with tongs and garnish with chopped parsley.
9. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and crusty bread.
10. Optional: add hot sauce or extra Cajun seasoning before serving.
