Ingredients
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper; spray lightly with cooking spray.
2. Unroll dough on a floured surface and cut into 25-30 one-inch squares.
3. Place a small amount of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square, then pinch edges to seal and roll into smooth balls.
4. Arrange the dough balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in a triangular tree shape, widening each row and using two balls at the base for the trunk.
5. Brush the assembled tree with beaten egg if using, then coat with melted butter mixed with minced garlic.
6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan evenly over the top of the tree.
7. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
8. Remove from oven and immediately brush with additional garlic butter.
9. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the baked tree for a festive garnish.
10. Transfer to a serving board and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
