Description
A spooky, kid-friendly Halloween finger food: hot dogs wrapped in crescent dough to look like mummies, complete with mustard or ketchup eyes.
Ingredients
8 hot dogs
1 (8 oz) tube refrigerated crescent dough
2 tablespoons mustard or ketchup, for eyes
Optional: 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Unroll crescent dough and cut into thin strips (about 1/4 inch wide).
3. Wrap strips around each hot dog, leaving a small gap near the top for the face.
4. Place wrapped hot dogs on the prepared sheet; sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
5. Bake until golden and puffed, 12–15 minutes.
6. Cool 3 minutes, then dot mustard or ketchup in the face gap to make eyes.
7. Serve warm with extra mustard and ketchup for dipping.
