Description

These crisp, golden crackers combine tangy sourdough with aromatic rosemary and flaky sea salt for a savory snack perfect on charcuterie boards or straight from the jar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup active sourdough starter (100% hydration)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 12 teaspoons honey (optional)
  • flaky sea salt for sprinkling

  • Instructions

    1. In a bowl stir together sourdough starter, olive oil, honey, flour, rosemary, and salt until a soft dough forms.

    2. Wrap dough and let rest at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.

    3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    4. Place dough between parchment sheets and roll to 1/16-inch thickness.

    5. Remove top parchment and cut dough into desired shapes.

    6. Transfer parchment to baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

    7. Bake 18–22 minutes, rotating halfway, until golden and crisp.

    8. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
