  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp black sea salt or activated charcoal salt
  • 1/4 cup roasted pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup pecans or walnuts

  • optional: 1 tsp black cocoa powder

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

    2. Toss cubed sourdough with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, rosemary, and black sea salt

    3. Spread seasoned bread pieces on a baking tray in a single layer

    4. Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp and golden

    5. Combine baked bread pieces with roasted pumpkin seeds and nuts in a large bowl

    6. Add beet powder or black cocoa powder for color and toss to coat

    7. Adjust seasoning to taste and let mix cool completely
