Description

A bright and flavorful Mediterranean breakfast toast featuring crisp sourdough topped with juicy tomatoes, tangy feta, and fresh basil.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 45 fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil, plus drizzle
  • pinch sea salt
  • freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 garlic clove, halved (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Toast the sourdough slices in a toaster oven or skillet until crisp and golden on the edges.

    2. Rub each warm slice lightly with the cut side of a garlic clove if using.

    3. Toss diced tomatoes with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper and let sit for 2 minutes.
