  • 810 fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 34 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

  • Instructions

    1. Rinse and dry strawberries, then toss with honey and salt and let macerate for 5–10 minutes.
