1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and herbs until combined.
3. Cut four 12×16-inch sheets of heavy-duty foil and place a handful of asparagus in the center of each.
4. Top asparagus with one salmon fillet, skin-side down if desired.
5. Drizzle 1.5 Tbsp of the butter mixture over each fillet and top with a lemon slice.
6. Fold the long edges of the foil over the salmon, then roll and seal all edges into packets.
