2. In a large bowl combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, ketchup, salt, and pepper; mix until just combined.
3. Shape mixture into small oval loaves, about two tablespoons each, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Roll out pastry and cut into 1/4-inch strips; wrap each mini loaf with strips, leaving space for eyes.
5. Brush wrapped loaves with olive oil or egg wash and bake for 22-25 minutes until meat is cooked and pastry is golden.
6. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes, then press candy eyes into each mummy.
7. Drizzle with ketchup or barbecue sauce and add mustard or cheese details if desired.
8. Serve warm or reheat at 350°F for 5 minutes to restore crispness.
