1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper until just mixed.
3. Form 1- to 1½-inch meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet, brush with olive oil.
4. Bake meatballs for 14–16 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
5. While baking, in a saucepan combine hot sauce, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, butter, and red pepper flakes and simmer for 3–5 minutes until glossy.
6. Transfer cooked meatballs to a bowl or skillet, pour the sauce over them, and toss gently with tongs to coat.
7. Optionally return meatballs to the oven for 2–3 minutes or simmer briefly for extra stickiness.
8. Let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with sesame seeds or chopped parsley before serving.
