Ingredients
Instructions
1. Place the 6 black tea bags into a large, heatproof pitcher or a large bowl. Carefully pour 4 cups of boiling water over the tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
2. After steeping, remove and discard the tea bags. While the tea is still hot, add the 1/2 cup of granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3. Allow the sweetened tea to cool down to room temperature. You can set it aside on the counter for about 15-20 minutes, or place the pitcher in an ice bath for quicker cooling.
4. Once the tea concentrate has cooled, pour in the 4 cups of chilled apple cider. Stir gently to combine the tea and cider thoroughly.
5. Place the pitcher of apple cider iced tea in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow it to get very cold. For the best flavor and refreshment, chilling for an hour or more is ideal.
6. Fill serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled apple cider iced tea over the ice. For an extra touch, garnish each glass with a fresh apple slice and/or a cinnamon stick. Enjoy your perfectly refreshing drink!
