1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure even browning.
3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme.
4. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over each chicken breast and drizzle with lemon juice if using.
5. Arrange chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet with space between each piece.
6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes to lock in juices.
